REMEMBERING PLANET MARS
In evolution, there's always a leader that helps change things, most especially in the progress of pop culture. At the start of the 90s, one club dared to push the envelope, Planet MARS. Not relying on old formulas, it was the place where the DJ was given freedom, thus producing our first star DJs -- ELMER DADO and JAMES McCRANIE.
These DJs favored underground house music over the commercial tunes, changing the landscape of Manila nightlife forever. More importantly, MARS did not forget its main objective -- to entertain and make sure its clientele had fun. The result... the hip, the hedonistic, the music lovers and pure pleasure seekers had a place where they could all converge.
On SEPTEMBER 15, join us as we relive the glory days of clubbing and pay tribute to the legendary dance club that started it all... PLANET MARS @ WAREHOUSE 135!
